  Refusing to Report time in field ministry

  what do you think would happen if i verbally refuse to report my time?

  it's been several months since i turned in my time and i think the elder got tired of asking me lol.

  frankly, i think it's stupid that jws are required to do this.

  I have found not turning in time is more important to the elders than not going to meetings. They would call me for my time and not ask about why I don't go to meetings. It is all about the numbers.

  ... and this time it was mine.. mrs. eden decided to part ways and leave home, and so our 25 year long partnership is now dissolving.

  i did some self-reflection today trying to determine why, with every passing day, i become angrier against the watchtower company.

  i am in my 70's and my health is failing.

  at first, i thought it was because "worldly" people couldn't care less about jdubs and the little world they live in even though the witlesses think that the earth revolves around them and their desert god who was originally worshipped by the cainites.

  I appreciate all of the insightful and heartfelt comments! The Borg stole our past but not our future. We have learned to live in the present not putting living on a block of ice waiting to live in a future petting zoo that is just around the corner.

  I will never forget the sorrow in the eyes of my mom laying in a nursing home bed when she accepted she was dying. She beat the truth into me because Armgeddon was so close and I wouldn't even get to graduate from high school.

  If there was a burning hell, the Watchtower Society of Jehovah's Witnesses would have a front row seat.

  The JDubs for over 100 years have been saying that the sky is falling. When this is brought to the attention of today's overlappers the failed prophesies are forgiven with nulight. It is almost like the older publications are now viewed as from apostates.

  I did some self-reflection today trying to determine why, with every passing day, I become angrier against the Watchtower Company. I am in my 70's and my health is failing. At first, I thought it was because "worldly" people couldn't care less about JDubs and the little world they live in even though the Witlesses think that the earth revolves around them and their desert god who was originally worshipped by the Cainites.

  Then I realized that the reason is the older I get the more I regret that my childhood was wasted in the Borg. My chance for a college education was taken away from me, and the fact that the Gibbering Body had in print that I would not grow old. The Awake rag dated May 22, 1969 page 15, "If you are a young person, you also need to face the fact that you will never grow old in this system of things." What the hell does the word "never" mean? I guess that it is like the meaning of the word "soon."

  I think what adds to my frustration is that we know more of what's going on in the borg that the JDubs who don't dare miss a meeting because of fear, obligation, and guilt. The same people who stand like manikins around their carts just counting time ignoring people as they walk by. When the end comes the Witlesses can say with their heads held high, "You walked right by us so don't say that you weren't warned."

  I don't think that the Borg will ever crash and burn but I hope that their numbers go into a deep decline and that as few people as possible get sucked into the Watchtower vortex where their brain cells die because of the Watchtower cocaine and where they will give up their families to live in a paradise that just ain't going to happen.

  i read the talk outline #49 for this summer's regional convention entitled "future events that will require courage-the destruction of babylon the great.".

  the jdubs live in a comic book world.

  babylon the great is all false religious organizations and she is destroyed by those she seeks to control.

  The JDubs believe that they are the center of the universe and the fulfillment of Bible prophecy revolves around them. They feel important. God must be weaker than Satan if only 0.1% of humanity are JDubs and 99.9% are unbelievers not worshipping the desert god.
